Our People Noank Media Inc. was founded by Harvard Law Faculty members William Terry Fisher and Paul Hoffert. Fisher (Chair) is Director of the Berkman Center for Internet and Society, where Wikipedia, podcasts and Creative Commons were nurtured. Hoffert (CEO) is a founder of the Canadian Independent Record Production Association and former President of the Academy of Canadian Cinema and Television. Jim Gelcer (COO) is a veteran recording artist/producer who has managed tech development teams for Open Text, Bell, Apple, IBM, and Cisco. Devon Copley (CTO) is co-founder and former CTO of Interocity. Ross Reynolds (Senior VP) is former President and Chairman of Universal Music (Canada). Eric Priest (VP Asia-Pacific) is a veteran of the global entertainment business and an intellectual property lawyer with broad China experience. The Noank Board is Chaired by Terry Fisher, Hale and Dorr Professor of intellectual property law at Harvard University and Director of the Berkman Center for Internet and Society. Other directors include Kenneth MacKinnon, former managing director of Merrill Lynch & Co., John Palfrey, Chair of the RSS Venture Fund and Clinical Professor at the Harvard Law School, and CEO Paul Hoffert. |
